I watched deep into that game before I realized it was in Memphis. They have made the NCAA courts so generic.

MEMPHIS was on each baseline right under the basket and the leaping tiger logo was in each the corners. Nice to see them, even though I couldn't afford the tickets, it's great to have the regional finals here. Hope it starts a trend.

Edit: I know we're too 'small' of an arena for that, it's just wishful thinking

not only too small of an arena, not enough downtown hotel rooms

same reason Memphis will never host an NBA All Star event

if One Beale and other possibilities were ever to come to fruition, it might be a different story

That's when I realized it was the Memphis location I was watching...I saw the Memphis and FedEx Forum, and eventually the Tiger logos.
