These numbers most likely won't change since I'm pretty sure that the few teams still playing are probably way in front of us on all lists.

Out of 351 D-1 schools, our power ranking is #224.

Out of 33 D-1 conferences (listing "Independents" as a conference) the A-Sun's power ranking is #24, the SoCon's is #30.

It will be interesting to see how ETSU, Mercer, and VMI affect the conference rankings next year!

I think there are 3 factors that will improve the SoCon's RPI next year...


ETSU, VMI, and Mercer will help out the SoCon RPI.

Dropping ASU and GSU will help out the SoCon RPI.

There are a number of teams with young rosters that should see improvement next year (like Wofford and Chattanooga...each with only one senior)

All those factors combined, I think you will see the SoCon move up at least 4-6 places next year in the conference RPI...maybe more.
