(EAG News) – A new report reveals the annual White Privilege Conference – regularly promoted by the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction – is costing the state’s taxpayers a lot of green.

At least one black civil rights leader referred to the conference organizers as “extremists” and called the event a “useless” waste of taxpayer money.

According to Wisconsin Reporter, taxpayers are unwittingly spending tens of thousands of dollars to send various educators, government employees and K-12 students to the four-day conference where they’ll learn how “to dismantle the (American) system of ‘white supremacy, white privilege and oppression’” in order to create “a more equitable world.”

Nobody can say for certain how much taxpayers are paying to help make the conference happen, as tax dollars are being spent through various grants, registration fees and sponsorship deals. Wisconsin Reporter says the grand total is at least $20,000, though the final figure will probably never be known.

Madison Area Technical College is a White Privilege Conference sponsor to the tune of $3,000. MATC official Malika Evanco defended the expenditure as a wise “investment.”

White Heterosexual Students Banned From Public University’s Diversity Workshops…



Try banning gays or minorities from an event and see what happens.

The University of Wisconsin-Madison recently hosted a diversity forum that banned white, heterosexual students from attending, The College Fix has learned.

The public university, in advertising the event, declared that the Feb. 28 session was “specifically for self-identified LGBTQ people of color.”

It hosted a second diversity event a day earlier that apparently allowed heterosexuals, but not white ones.

“Both of these sessions are intended for self-identified people of color,” a flier touting the event stated.

The sessions are part of a “Race and the Body” speaker series put on by the taxpayer-funded Institute for Justice, Education and Transformation Multicultural Student Center at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Its webpage repeated the same admittance requirements as the fliers posted on campus.

“Ignacio Rivera will facilitate two seperate workshops entitled ‘Mapping Your Desires’ for people of color,” the website states regarding the race- and sexual-preference segregated events.

According is his website, Rivera is a ”Two-Spirit, Black-Boricua Taíno, queer performance artist, activist, filmmaker, lecturer and sex educator who prefers the gender neutral pronoun ‘they.’ “

Wisconsin Reporter Denied Access To White Privilege Conference



We are fully aware of who Wisconsin Reporter is.

Stephanie Puentes tried to keep the smile from stretching across her face as she made that comment Thursday after denying my request to cover the White Privilege Conference here in Madison.

When I came back Friday morning, Puentes, a conference media representative, clearly seemed agitated. Puentes told me she was quite familiar with the previous stories I had done leading up to the seminar, which examines the concept that minorities may not be afforded the same privileges as white people.

And, again, she wouldn’t let me in.

Did it have anything to do with the story I wrote in early February, disclosing that taxpayers are underwriting at least $20,000 — and likely much more — of the cost of the forum at the Monona Terrace Community and Convention Center?

Or maybe it was because of my other piece Wednesday quoting Niger Innis, national spokesman for the Congress of Racial Equality, who called the White Privilege Conference an irrelevant and frivolous waste of taxpayer money.

Puentes insisted I wasn’t allowed in because I had not registered online in advance or called the conference’s offices ahead of time to make arrangements.

It’s not as if I didn’t try.

White Privilege Conference officials have failed to make themselves available for comment when I’ve attempted to contact them for past stories. How was I supposed to make arrangements when nobody would return my calls and talk to me?

It also didn’t help the conference’s website doesn’t include a section for media registration.

Yes, because giving entire towns to radical Muslims and illegal aliens isn't enough to quell the guilt felt by dumb white liberals in the midwest.

hire non whites?

What's really sad about this f'ed up organization is they have some deep pocket funding like the Sierra Club. It's time to start shunning racist organizations like this and attaching their image where it belongs - the Democratic Party.

My black neighbor's grass grows just as fast as mine. His tractor was the same price and is the same horsepower.

It's society's fault that he can't maintain his lawn as good as I, because of White Privilege.


City folks have too much time on their hands, apparently, to come up with these crazy theories, and then White Guilt to subscribe to them.
