C-USA visitors thank El Paso for hospitality

My wife (who won a VIP trip to the Conference USA Tournament) and I just returned home to Mississippi from El Paso.

We want to thank the El Paso tourism department, the Sun Bowl promotion team, the staff and drivers at the Hilton Garden Inn UTEP, and the photographers at the El Paso Times.

Although our teams did not win the tournament, as we had hoped, we enjoyed our trip immensely.

The food, historical features and culture all played a part in our enjoyment.

However, the feature we enjoyed most and want to compliment the city on is your people.

We felt genuinely welcome and safe among your very cordial citizens.

Thank you, El Paso, for your hospitality and we hope to visit again soon.

The Brumfield's are good people. Dawn was one of my youngest sons middle school teachers and he needed a leash after a year with her.

Why don't the mods that have such an itchy trigger finger when it comes to smack boarding a thread, or blindly sending a thread off to the spin room (despite the fact that there were already multiples there on the topic) ever merge dupe threads?

There are two "southern miss fans appreciate El Paso" threads and two "southern miss ad" threads, and have been for days. I guess it's not as sexy.

It's easy to be impressed when you win a VIP trip.
