Hopefully the "quiet one" has learned and last year was an outlier.

Maybe they couldn't get into BCS playoffs (yeah right - tell that to Texas or Oklahoma) but I don't think that's a real concern for MAC.

G5 teams not P5 teams. Rules don't apply to them. I am trying to confirm what I heard.

What are "G5" and "P5" teams?

Good size school, good size T.V. market, decent fan base, good teams generally, etc. Not the end of the world if they left, but still a loss IMO. Probably inevitable with their re-branding initiatives.

Buffalo is the MAC's newest full time member, having joined in 1998. As a member of the MAC Buffalo football has had a total of 2 winning seasons with a record of 47-131(26%). After 16 seasons they are averaging 2.94 wins/season.

Their men's basketball team has won 0 MAC tournaments, 0 MAC regular season titles, and 1 division title (2014).

I'm not pushing for them to leave but it wouldn't be detrimental to the MAC if they did.

So we basically agree?

Not that it matters, but an odd fact - our TV market is bigger than Buffalo's
We are #39 and they are #51
