He was truly a GREAT friend of the program. We have lost -2- individuals with a deep passion for NIU sports in the last week. He owned a couple bars in town and the last one was Fatty's, but not sure. Loved the team.

He loved NIU athletics, but had no connection to Fatty's. Also included in thread on Dr. Brigham.

First of all Daddio does not get enough credit for everything he has done for NIU.

So much so, that things I am about to mention are just a small sample of things he did for NIU. Daddio served for quite a long time on the NIU Hall of Fame Selection Committee.

His fundraising efforts helped the men's golf program for many years as he would work tirelessly on the NIU Golf Program Fundraiser every year under Coach Pheanis.

He also was a huge part of gathering raffle and silent auction items every year for the Brigham-Novak outing.

In terms of Fatty's. He did not own it, but he is a good friend to everyone at Fatty's. Daddio was a huge part of Fatty's and Coach Carey's annual Huskies Fore Hope Golf Outing that started with Coach Kill 6 years ago. The outing over the last 5 years has raised around $60,000 helping people in the community, especially the DeKalb/Sycamore Schools Special Education Programs.

Daddio had alot to do with that.

He wore an NIU hat almost everyday I have ever seen him. One of a kind and just one of the best ever.
