The amount of money in big time sports is pretty gross to be honest. I love it and all... but it really is probably a very big bubble that's bound to pop.

The whole sports-contract bubble is because of TiVo, DVRs, etc. Nobody watches commercials except for during major live events, the majority of which are sports. Once someone finds a way to disrupt that the way that TiVo did to other programming, the well of money will quickly dry up. That will be an interesting day...
