Playoff Outlook
*Updated with actual wins/losses in bold.**

Grizz currently one game better than both Dallas and Phoenix in the loss column, and sitting in 7th place in the west.

Question 1: What record gets you in the playoffs? Does 49 wins get you in? I think so. And I think that's about where we end up. It would be nice to get to 50 or 51, but that'll take some work.

Question 2: Who do want and where will they finish? Obviously we want no part of the Spurs, who look like a lock for the first seed. So we need to hang on to the seventh seed.

I can easily see 5 more losses in our last 12. That sounds like a lot with how this team has been playing, but the schedule does us no favors.

Here's how I think we may finish, granted we can win a few of these I have us losing and lose a couple out of nowhere. This would put us 49-32.

@ Utah - Win
@ Golden State - Win - **LOSS**
@ Portland - Loss:
@Denver - Loss **WIN**
@ Minnesota - Win **LOSS**
vs Denver - Win
@ San Antonio - Loss
vs Miami - Loss
vs Philly - Win
@ Lakers - Win
@Phoenix - Loss: 2nd nigh of back to back vs team likely playing for playoff lives
vs. Dallas - Win

I think we'll go 9-3 with our losses coming at SA, at Denver and at Phoenix, and finish with a 51-29 record.

I think that they should keep Aldridge out at least until we play them.

I was hoping that OKC would beat Dallas but Calderon hit a 3 to send it into overtime and Dallas ended up winning.

Alot of the top teams in the league are letting us down as far as beating the teams we're locked in a tight race with. Indiana has 4 (5?) home losses all year and three of them are to DAL, PHX, and GSW.

@ Utah - Win
@ Golden State - Win
@ Portland - Loss: They're playing for their postseason as well. I think we lose a close one on the road.
@Denver - Loss: Second night of back to back, coming off tough game the night before.
@ Minnesota - Win
vs Denver - Win
@ San Antonio - Loss
vs Miami - Loss
vs Philly - Win
@ Lakers - Win
@Phoenix - Loss: 2nd nigh of back to back vs team likely playing for playoff lives
vs. Dallas - Win

How quickly the rest of the field is set may come into play. I could see the Suns being eliminated before that second-to-last game, which could make the game meaningless for them. I could also see us flipping the Heat game if they start trying to get a little rest for some of their banged up players. I think we could flip one between Portland and Denver as well, but you also have to probably account for one more head-scratching loss as well. So I'm hoping for 9-3.

RE: Playoff Outlook
We managed to pull out that game vs. UTAH, but any unexpected losses like that would've been will really hurt our playoff chances/positioning. On the plus side, we're now only 2 back of the 5th spot.

We very badly need to stay out of the 8th spot. I want no part of S.A.

RE: Playoff Outlook
So far we've lost a game I thought we'd win, and that we should have won, and won at Denver, which was unexpected. We never win there. Need to get on a roll. I don't want to depend on help on a nightly basis. We really don't want the 8th seed.
