So let's get this straight, according to Liberals, states don't need voter identification laws because there are so few cases of voter fraud and the DOJ will prosecute violators to the fullest extent of the low. Problem solved why are states so worried. 01-wingedeagle

I have never said or even implied that Republicans never do anything wrong or stupid. That's you trying hard to put words into my mouth.

Where you are spectacularly wrong AGAIN, AS ALWAYS, is your assertion that the dems don't try to steal elections through loose voter roll record keeping, registrations up until the moment of voting (same day registrations), mail-in ballots, tampering with the delivery of military absentee ballots, challenging any and all voter ID and integrity measures and on and on. Cloward and Piven would be so proud of how many ways that the dems have used their strategies in elections to overwhelm the system.

How about that recent story in Florida where one TV investigative reporter used jury summonses that excused a person from jury duty because they are NOT citizens of the U.S. and matched up those names with the voter registration rolls. What he found were hundreds of folks who had voted, even though they were not citizens. What is amazing is that this was a local NBC station that first aired their investigative results in a story.

Illegal voting investigation grows dramatically

Quote:FORT MYERS, FL -
The state's investigation into potential noncitizens registered to vote has nearly doubled. It's an update to an exclusive NBC2 investigation we first broke on Monday, showing state election supervisors were now investigating non-citizens registered, and in some cases, casting ballots in elections.

Originally, 1,251 voters were discovered. The Division of Elections now says it's at 2,671. Miami Dade County's Elections Supervisor's office confirms says the state has identified nearly 2,000 potential non-citizens registered in its county alone.

Dems know that their tactics make it nearly impossible to uncover voting fraud until well after it happens, unless somebody blows the whistle beforehand and then even then, the authorities don't want to do anything. WHY? Because they know that a chorus of lefties will scream bloody murder that somebody is disenfranchising somebody. They are well practiced in this tactic and they know it works.

According to Rasmussen, 78% favor proof of citizenship before being allowed to vote.

http://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_c...ed_to_vote

Quote:A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that 78% of Likely U.S. Voters believe everyone should be required to prove his or her citizenship before being allowed to register to vote. That’s up from 71% a year ago. Just 19% oppose that requirement. (To see survey question wording, click here.)

Twenty-nine percent (29%) believe laws that require proof of citizenship before allowing voter registration discriminate against such voters. But more than twice as many (61%) say such laws do not discriminate, up three points from 58% who felt that way in March of last year. Ten percent (10%) are undecided.

Opponents of proof-of-citizenship laws claim they are intended to keep eligible voters from voting, while supporters say instead that they are intended to keep ineligible voters from casting votes. Thirty-four percent (34%) think it is more common that people are prevented from voting who should be allowed to vote. Half (50%) of voters disagree and think that more often people are allowed to vote who are not eligible to vote. Seventeen percent (17%) are not sure.

This marks a six-point increase from last year in the number of voters who think it is more common for people to be allowed to vote who are not eligible. It’s also the highest level of doubt about the voting process in surveys since January 2008.

WE ALL should care about fair elections. Florida 2000 really bothered me and I understand and appreciate the argument from the other side. The impression of wrong doing can severly hamper the whole system. The process has to be seen as fair to both sides. If this lady voted 6 times you prosecute her.

Also, drum roll, this lady was a Hamilton County Board of Elections worker.

Yep. The Nati is so proud or our little Mellowese.

I think the margin of victory in FL for the 2000 presidential election was < 400 votes so voter fraud can effect elections at all levels.

In this country, how does a person go to jail for a crime that never happens?

Grow up. Stop playing like a stupid ignorant jack ass. The crime happens. We all say it does. We tell you this continually. What we also continually tell you is that it doesn't happen at any significant rate whatsoever as to effect the outcome of elections.

YOu don't think it played any role at all in Florida 2000 or Minnesota 2010?

You're a fool tom..

Really?

Pffft. Piss poor reach on your part. And I said elections, not one election. I'm sure an election...in fact probably a couple over time have been swayed by improper voting. Still doesn't change the fact that it's not rampant, nor is it any orchestrated practicality. You know...fraud.

Tommy, you're only taking this position because the fraudsters vote for your guy. And nice backtracking.

Really. You're going to be another of the total idiots like JF and MHB who insist that Republicans never do anything wrong or illegal...only Democrats do?

Please. Stop acting stupid. It doesn't suit you.

Tom when is the last time outspoken conservative activist lionized a person who voted multiple times in an election?

RE: Justice Department Refuses To Charge Woman Who Voted For Obama Six Times…
Adding this to a thread already about voter fraud (that we're told doesn't exist in meaningful numbers)

http://www.nationalreview.com/corner/374...ew-johnson

"The review found that 35,570 North Carolina voters from 2012 shared the same first names, last names, and dates of birth with individuals who voted in other states. Another 765 Tar Heel State residents who voted in 2012 had the the same names, birthdays, and final four digits of a Social Security number as voters elsewhere.

Meanwhile, the election board’s executive director, Kim Westbrook Strach, told lawmakers that 81 deceased North Carolinians apparently voted in 2012 as well. While some appear to have submitted absentee ballots prior to their death, she said “there are between 40 and 50 who had died at a time that that’s not possible.”

35,570 potential double votes? That could affect the outcomes of elections.

And if there are 35,570 potential double voters in NC how many are there in other states?
