Great effort and composure at the end when Minnesota was trying to pull away. I think this is a team that fell short in the end, but won a place in the hearts of our fans... kind of like the 1996 football team. Go Eagles.

Man that was a tough loss.. Proud of those boys though.

I came in from the gym, turned on the game and it was at the first TV break and we were up by 7.. We kept that lead and I decided it was safe to shower, and when I came back Minnesota had taken the lead and there was 2 minutes left in the half.

It seems once we got down, we couldn't get back. I see a bright future for USM Basketball.. Hopefully Tyndall sticks around. I think he's got something special coming down the pipe.

Agreed, Tyndall has taken us forward. Loved this team and coaches.

Will be a whole new team next year pretty much.
Will miss these seniors. They fought hard.
Ran into a team who couldn't miss a free throw and a kid who couldn't miss a shot.

I'm going to go ahead and up my sports package, I want to catch all the games I can.

USM basketball is a lot like your football program used to exude, toughness and tenacity. Very well coached as well. Hats off. Hope to see football get back that same mojo.
