This has absolutely nothing to do with the quality of the program. Attendance is slipping across every major sport at both the collegiate and professional levels because of the experience people can now get at home.

Pardon me, 27... That is so much more respectable and really changes the point that a few missed layups were not the reason we lost...

Good point. 27 was the biggest lead before Memphis closed the game on a 12-3 run. Memphis didn't lose...they just ran out of time.

There is not a coach in the country that could make the people on this board happy, the best thing to do with this site is to use it for comedy. It amazes me that the coach with the most wins in 5 years in Memphis history, and the coach with the 6th most wins of any ncaa college coach at this point in their career has people saying he cant coach and wishing he was gone. Make all the excuses you want to diminish his record but if it was so easy there are some cupcake conferences that should be getting it done. I am proud of this team and our coach, last year the talking point was top 25 wins and people were saying Pastner couldn't coach a team to beat one, well it is those people that look like fools now. Now it will be something else, there will always be people that can't be happy about anything, I don't like that they lost last night, and i don't like how they lost, but this team achieved a lot this year, and the team, the coach, and the school are doing great things. Go tigers!

He's right people with agendas try to make things sound as bad as they possibly can. We did not play well but we played hard and lost to a superior team.

I mean, interest is dropping. But, the Tic Price years were reaaaaaaaaaly bad and things would have to get way worse before we started seeing that sort of apathy.
