What does this team do this year if we have Barton and Stokes? I think we could've made an E8 run personally.

If we had those two and played this same UVA team we would still be at home because they still would have shot nearly 60%

I agree our defense is atrocious, but Stokes does well in that department and so does Barton. I guess, however, if you aren't taught a defense, you can't run one.

Could have gotten Kane, Josh didnt want him. You guys know the story on Barton. He would have been our #5 guard. Kane would have put this team over the top but must have had something I thin Josh feared. Stokes just wasn't meant to be. Josh can sometimes be too nice. His scholly to Barham probably cost us Stokes but thats the way the cookie crumbles sometimes

If ifs and buts were candy and nuts, everyday would be Christmas.

If we have Stokes, we run an inside-out offense, and the guards don't have free reign to shoot. We probably don't spend all pre-season working on a press, instead focusing on the half-court game.

I agree with the earlier post - Stokes to Memphis was "not meant to be".

Barton probably doesn't make that big of a difference. He probably gets more PT than Wilson, but that's not a lot of court time.

Barton was gone either way with Kane or Dixon coming in here so that's totally moot.


Meanwhile all three of those guys are still playing while we sit at home.
