No use of thinking the bball program will be successful in the foreseeable future. Sorry it ain’t gonna happen with the elephant in the room. And even if he is replaced tomorrow a new one would have to start from ground zero. What can I say other than it happens.

Hey told ya’ll to get the hard liquor ready.

I'm so bored I'm ready to jump on the Bruce Pearl bandwagon. Even if he doesn't win it will be interesting reading when the NCAA violations start rolling in.

Next year's roster with an additional big who can play should go to the tourney with a good coach

That ain't the answer. The elephant will still be there in the morning and you have a helluva hangover to boot.

Yep. Even if a change is made at head coach the 10.6 million buyout hamstrings he ability to pull together the cash to go get (buyout + salary) a proven commodity.

If the thought is to 'go cheap' and take a flyer on another kid may as well stick with what we have. Just no extension to his current contract under any circumstances for the next 2 years. Then you're down to a 5.3 million dollar buyout for the remaining 2 years. If the team continues to perform as it has for the past couple of seasons attendance will probably bottom out at close to the current level of butts in seats. Tickets sold would likely resemble butts in seats though.......

There really isn't a great answer unless there's about 25-30 million working capital to get Paz out and a proven commodity in.

This team has a ton of talent and a great coach. We just need to support them until they can figure out how to make it all work. There's plenty of games left to be excited about.
