It'll all come crashing down when Michigan gets them next week. They are going to be some kind of awful next season once McRae, Barton, Stokes, and Maymon are gone.

I didn't complain when Marvin Barnes went down (ff -not s16).

Even if they win today, the Sweet 16 is pretty much their ceiling. They have only advanced past that once in their history.

I guess no F U thread for AB and Stokes?

I don't know, they have to win an extra game to get there, and they are winning in convincing fashion so far. Martin seems to be getting the most out of his team at this point.

Kwanzo cant recruit for squat. Stokes fell in his lap and McRae and Maymon were BP's players. They got into the tournament by racking up a handful of wins vs garbage teams down the stretch and lost the 1st time they played anyone good (FLA in SECT). They got a lucky break when Duke lost. They will by far be the worst of the 4 teams in Indy next week, and like I said, they'll be lucky to be in the NIT next year when the few decent players they have now are gone

UTK fans were ready to drive Cuonzo out of town on a rail prior to this week. His coaching is no different now that he's beaten UMass and may beat 14 seed Mercer.

Jokes on UTK, they're probably stuck with him for a few more years now.

There is no one on the planet that hates UT more than I do, but they seem to be playing well to me. They beat our next opponent by 30 so hopefully we can match that!

I just haven't seen a team as bad as UT get spoonfed a sweet 16

That 6 seed UMass team was beyond mediocre. They lost 7 of their last 15 in a not-so-hot A10. How UMass got a 6, that Iowa team was an 11 and SMU got the shaft, I'll never know.

We got an easy path in 2005 though. We can't complain that much.
