So what is the scholarship situation for next year. How many do we have to give? How many signed early in the fall? How many left, assuming no one currently on scholarship is run off?

Three coming in. Two leaving. Kemy hurt.

And J.T.04-cheers

JT is one of our returning scholarship players. He could have played the last half of the season, but a decision was made to try and get him a medical redshirt for this season. I saw him practicing with the team. He certainly could have played if the coaches wanted him to. We definitely could have used him late in the season with our limited numbers. Steve made the decision so he could have him for 2 more years. So I guess Steve may not be worried that he won't be here after next season.

He might have been able to play, but he probably wouldn't have been effective because Steve publicly stated he'd have to have sports hernia surgery after the season, so he could still be doubtful. Any surgery sets you back some for a time. But I hope he does come back. I think he has a lot of leadership qualities.04-cheers

JT looked fine in practice, but I guess th surgery is need to eliminate the problem. My son had the surgery and was back playing soccer pretty quickly. JT will be good as new in no time. We will be set at the point next season.

Only issue is that the NCAA allowing a 6th year is certainly not a guarantee. But, I really don't see any logical reason why they wouldn't in this case.

That would be the most practical thing to do. Especially if he can play two more years. We'd have at least one mature point guard after D'Vonte graduated.04-cheers

Didn't think fans could go to practices. Guess that doesn't mean fan club members. Why can't you go Doc? You don't think coach has a mole who can read the stuff hidden on the private board do you?

I didn't think fans could attend practices anymore either. I would be interested in how someone saw J.T. practicing with the team? I don't know anything about a mole, but nobody has welcomed me back to practices. Hell. Murderers get out of prison in fewer years then I've been banned from practices. If Chris really wants to gain favor with me, he'll let me know I'm welcome at practices again. I'm waiting by the phone. Wait! Oh my gosh. The phone is ringing. Maybe it's Chris. "Hello! No. I'm not interested in buying Viagra". "I've told you a million times to stop calling me." Sorry guys. Those people are relentless.04-cheers

I suspect you're banned from practices for life Doc. Not your life, Steve's.

And I was banned from practices by Chris and Steve, people I like. Think of how people I don't like would treat me. 01-lauramac2
