He comes to our games fairly regularly when he is in town.

and he's donated plenty of money to our medical school

I love b'ham....is some of the prettiest southern countryside....have always been envious of that and the surrounding tributaries....fishing rules in bama vs. ms...oxmore valley and ross bridge....yeah, played both many times too....

the scribe describes why I love CB's candor.....he's speaks from the heart and wears it on his chest....the gods of media are not supposed to allow that in front of the camera

they can't stop this man and his message....he is required viewing in my mind....

disclaimer: I'm white and grew up fairly privileged

Privileged?

Dude, we play basketball in a yurt. 03-lmfao

which I choose to use as a term of endearment....it's unfortunate that you choose the other view (and completely whiffed my point as usual)....btw, the yurt is getting ready to get a facelift....sorry, you will not get the ribbon cut invite....

It was a joke. I don't get the Reed Green hatred... I love the way it blends into campus and I actually think the projector / screen approach is pretty clever. I'd be just fine with taking whatever money we're about to spend on it and spending it on coach salaries instead. Our football coach should be at $1,000,000 per year, as Fedora was. Tyndall probably deserves a big raise, too. But Reed Green upgrade hysteria is pretty strong right now...

And I guess I'm just not allowed to make jokes any more. Point taken.

my apologies for misunderstanding the tone....

It's all good....you and me are similar at times....

edit: btw, it's not the exterior that is the issue....you may be surprised if you come to a game next year.....just a hint for ya....

Thank you. I can't wait to see the changes... few things excite me more than when USM gets new toys.

It actually works in our favor at this point.....sky's the limit with big mac's thoughts....

am I justified in saying, "FINALLY"?

I love Sir Charles; never seen anyone have as much fun at being a Deadpan Snarker than him. His time in Phoenix is why I'm still a Suns fan to this day.

I find him very entertaining, but i hate how he bashes San Antonio. He also gets away with saying a lot of things that a white guy would get fired for.

He just trashed the NBA.....cracked me up....

TNT isn't too happy right now.....

I like Barkley with the NBA.

He doesn't know college basketball, though. And I get tired of him and Kenny analyzing teams they don't know anything about.

At least he keeps Gottlieb off my screen for at least a little while. That is the one person in the history of television to become more insufferable AFTER leaving ESPN.

Gottlieb is the absolute worse!!

I like Sir Charles a lot. No matter what he has going on he always makes time to help his hometown and state.

Any way you slice it, he's just a good dude.....I love his candor and openness....is not surprising he's a humanitarian also.....

people with means will always get my respect when acting in a philanthropic way.....kudos to the man with the worst golf swing on the planet

I truly wish Gottlube would get hit by a bus, him and Seth Davis
