No, these players were over-rated and don't bring it every game. They have always been soft. Very few games when they show backbone (ex:Zaga).

They were not tough when they arrived, so they were not going to be tough. They didn't play defense when they arrived, so they were not going to play defense.

Needs to recruit kids who might not have as many ****, but want to play and are willing to play a role on a team.

Basically you're just saying we need to recruit kids that can coach themselves. That way our coach can flash cue cards, clap, and give great interviews. In depth interviews. "shoot the ball betterer"

I hope. I saw many times tonight where our guards attempting to set a screen, never impeded the progress of the defense. Unbelievable to watch. That is execution and that is on the coach. I've said for the last 2-3 years, I will wait until the next backcourt "leaders" come through the program. If we see this same lack of execution, unable to compete against really good teams consistently, I will turn to the dark side.
