First off, I am from northern ca, so almost always root for PAC 12 teams when I can. Second, hard to say if Kansas was over rated or not. They lost their starting seven footer and had to depend on Tarik to come in and fill his shoes, and stay in the game. How did that work out for us?
Injuries always change things up. Iowa st. Is a very good team as well I think, but due to losing a key player this last game, they probably just lost any hope for a championship that they may have had.

Kansas was far from over seeded. Played arguably the toughest schedule in the country and won the regular season title in the Big 12.

9 losses, best big man out before tournament was set up. 2 seed? Nope.
Maybe a 4.

9 losses with arguably the hardest schedule in the country. If we had played their schedule we would probably have 10 or more losses.
They deserved a 2 seed

So playing devils advocate here, if Wichita st. Goes undefeated and wins there conference tournament with their best player getting injured in their league championship game, they should be downgraded to like a six seed?
You get your seed based on what you have done with marginal input about available players. Therefore Kansas got its seed based on their wins during the season. May be many teams better during the tournament, but hard to argue that they earned their one seed with the schedule they played.

So, who is your favorite PAC 12 team? UCLA?

Kansas has missed their injured big man. It showed in the Big 12 tournament. He was some kind of good and they roll with him. But, that's the way it goes.

Kansas is really, really good. Stanford capitalized on a good matchup and an injured player. Great game and hats off to the Cardinal, but Kansas had a great year.

Maybe a 4.
Why should they be penalized for losing a starter before the tourney started? The performance during the season should be all that is considered. They earned their seed, no issue. Years ago I thought Cincy got jobbed when Kenyon Martin broke a leg in the league tourney then they loose their #1/#2 seed because of this. Dumb rule to penalize this way for a team sport.

If Doug McDermott had gotten hurt in their tournament, do you think they would have been a 3 seed? No. It shouldn't matter, but it does UNLESS your name is Duke, Kansas, Kentucky or the like.

I don't care much one way or the other about Iowa sports teams, but ISU fans are some of the nicest I've met up here, and always great to beat the ACC.
