It would be nice for SMU to win the NIT. If Memphis makes the Sweet Sixteen they'll have 3 wins over Sweet Sixteen teams. They really got the shaft and need to show everyone what the NCAA missed out on.

If Memphis takes out UVA tomorrow, SMU will have 3 wins over Sweet 16 teams. You can't go back and hit the rewind button. . . But, you also can't dispute the first sentence either.

That'll make the ACC happy with Louisville coming over in July, they need more schools that can beat A10 schools in the tournament.

I've noticed quite a few already claiming Louisville in this tournament.

As a golfer, I was really surprised when I learned about all of the famous UH alumni who are professionals. It's actually really impressive.
If I wasn't into golf I wouldn't care though.

Memphis getting crushed. UC lost first round to an Ivy League school. Any AAC NCAAT bragging comes down to UConn because UL isn't even going to be in the league in a few months.

Let see, Louisville is an ACC school, Memphis got throttled, Baseball and Golf is a little far down the food chain to be bragging about but what they heck I'm finding Lacrosse is being talked about regularly on the ACC board so why not.
Really this is just UConn. The UCF win is great but overshadowed by the fact that you just lost your auto bid to the CFP. Good thing UConn upset Villanova else there'd be nothing good to talk about for the American.
Also, SMU and Louisville got punked by the selection committee, so the conference respect isn't there either.

No offence ACC fans, as I like many of you, but Louisville is playing for the AAC in this tournament. Sure they're gone, but the credits stay and the win will be for the AAC in the record books. Literally everyone called this on the AAC board. "If UL loses first round it's going to be 'the AAC's weak' and if they make it to the Sweet Sixteen 'UL is an ACC school."

SMU has an ACC team scheduled for 2014/15 OOC. . . After this year's snub, SMU will be the one doing the "punking" next year on their opponents

I tried but found myself rooting for Memphis the whole game. I don't expect to feel any different for the Michigan State game.

Why don't you clear it up for me an name that school. SMU's 2014-15 basketball schedule is to obscure to find with a simple yahoo search.
And I have nothing against SMU, but ya'll did get screwed by the selection committee.
