Never in the history of the tourny have more people picked a #1 seed to lose in the first weekend and been correct. I would have actually been mildly surprised had UK lost.

On the other hand, Memphis and Gonzaga are getting trucked.

So it looks like:
SEC -3
PAC - 3
B10 - 3
AAC - 2
B12 - 2
A10 - 1
MW - 1
ACC - 1
Big Least - 0, zero, zip, nada, zilch

The Big East sure was over-seeded in this tournament. Very unimpressed with that league.

Don't forget the tournament's not designed to find the "best" team. I agree, though, that the Big East was a bit overrated this year.

Short turn around with no time to prepare talented teams like UK, Tennessee, and Baylor have an edge.

Wouldn't be surprised to see UK make the championship game if they can get by UofL. They out-talent nearly every team they face at nearly every position.

Louisville's Skyline Chilis are dyeing their spaghetti red and blue for March Madness

This is just wrong on every level.

Maybe that's what all those kids down in Louisville are actually rioting over...
