The Tigers are 16-1 when Joe and Shaq score in double figures, and 7-8 when only one or neither do.

It has nothing to do with Chris "Showtime" Crawford.

One of the top handicappers on the strip just said he loves Memphis over GW tommorow. He said he believes they are one of the top ten teams in the country!!!!!! He just said to put your money on MEMPHIS!

So did Charles Barkley. He has us beating both GW AND Virginia.

Didnt he pick us against Mich . St. . That didnt work out too well .

The enduring puzzle from this year is what the hell happened to our 3 point percentage. Last year JJ was one of the best in the country, this year he's awful. What happened? CC seems less consistent and even Johnson is down. I don't get it, I really don't. With the inside out approach we should have more open looks, yet as a team we could qualify to join the Masons.

So true Bill , if we can hit our threes the way we did last year we can make some noise . If not , we'll be as quiet as a mouse .07-coffee3

By the way , this is what coach has been preaching all year .

I guess I'm just the kind of guy who believes this stuff doesn't just happen, that there has to be some reason. JJ was not a particularly good outside shooter until last year, when he improved drastically. Then, this year, he has reverted. Why? I don't know.

CC, I think, can be explained. I believe his shooting the first two years suffered because he tended to fade away when he went up, and the effort was on him going up straight, which helped a lot. This year he seems to be fading away again. No idea why.

Johnson...well, he was never great, but this is probably a confidence thing.

Is he the guy that was ripping Roy Williams the other day on the Vernon show? Said it was a no brainer to pick Providence because Roy Williams is a horrendous coach.

Yup. That's him. And I agree with him. Given the talent that Roy Williams has year after year, the end result is pretty bad.

Yeah, Vegas loves us so much they have us at 100 to 1 odds winning it all, yet they have Tenn at 75 to 1. I know that has something to do with the fact we have Mich St in our bracket, but come on. I talked to some people while at Red Rock (my casino of choice here in Vegas) and they said most money being put down was against Memphis. So...

Wouldn't the public loving GW be a good thing? I always understood that fading the public is what smart bettors always do.

Yeah, and fading the degenerate gamblers should be even more so in our favor.

It is odd they all dropped off like they did. Bad shooting became contagious somehow.
