I really don't understand why you feel comments like this are necessary. We don't "own" this league. In fact, up until this year. We had been in quite a championship drought.

NMSU played San Diego State close...losing to them in OT. Adding them as a full member would be great...especially with the talent they will have next year.

It's about time this stupid argument came up again.

Louisiana and Arkansas State finished with the same record and this Cajun blowhard who's becoming a bigger and bigger troll by the day can't wrap his mind around that.

If Louisiana and Arkansas State had their seasons play out exactly the same and ULM had managed to beat either USA or WKU, it would have been a three way tie between Arkansas State, Louisiana and ULM all with 1-1 records against one another so no on the field tiebreaker.

So by the "overlords" logic, Arkansas State lost their claim to the title by virtue of ULM's inability to beat one of USA or WKU.

Take a look at the history of any league without a CCG and you'll see tons of shared titles between teams with identical records and a head to head meeting. If you don't want shared titles, find a 12th member or go undefeated in conference every year.
