Holy cow San Diego St. Is trying to choke this game away.

I've only missed 2 so far, although it will be 3 if San Diego st loses.

But hell, I'm rooting for it anyways!

Since I typically occupy the bottom half of NCAA bracket pools, I'm spending my much of my time today boasting that all three of my incorrect picks came down to overtime -- Ct./St. Joes, Okla./NDSU and St. L./NC St.

But that was yesterday. Like Obiwan (and several others on this site), I allowed my emotions to control my picks for today's games, and went with Tulsa and S.F. Austin. It would be nice if it happened, but I've got my red pen at the ready.

Its movement/separation Friday... Another stupid pick for me is Nebraska to sweet 16 and UNC to sweet 16 as well....

2 Sweet Sixteen teams out yesterday: St. Joe's and Cincinnati. 12-4 overall (also had Ohio State and Oklahoma winning their first games).

Still in pretty good shape today. 13/16 and the teams that did bust me (Ohio St, Cincy and Oklahoma) I had losing in RD2.

St. Joes' for me is the only one that stings as I had them in the S 16. the only really dumb pick I made was W Mich over 'cuse. all the other losses I took were either OT (St. Joe & NCST) and two buzzer beaters (Ohio St & Az St). I got the rest including harvard and NDST. I went way overboard on the upsets without really realizing it. I have a bunch today too. Mercer over Duke (stupid - this could be like the Syracuse game); Providence over UNC and SF AUS over VCU (went with my heart over my brain on that one). bolting work at noon to watch.

also, I hope we beat the snot out of NCST next year! I won't feel vindicated until then!

I went a went a putrid 9-7 with my picks on day one. That is the worst I have ever done by far. On the bright side Oklahoma is the only one of my Sweet 16 teams has been eliminated.

I have serveral opportunities to have a busted bracket today. I have VCU, New Mexico, and UMass in the Sweet 16 and Creighton in the Elite 8. Not that confident any of them will win. I also have Iowa State in the F4. I do think they win today, but NCCU is capable of pulling the upset if the stars align.

The 2 teams that screw up my bracket every year are Kansas and Gonzaga. Look for both teams to go deep since I picked them to bow out after 1 win this year.

My bracket isn't completely busted. I went 14-2 yesterday. I strangely had Oklahoma in my elite 8. New Mexico State almost pulled it off for me, but I had them losing in the 2nd rd anyway. The only upsets I have today are Ok State beating Gonzaga and Tennessee beating Umass.

George Sodano, of ESPN's Sodano and Stink, said this morning on Mike & Mike, that his bracket was still perfect and he picked SF Austin over VCU. Let's hope he continues on his way to the billion dollars! Even though I have VCU winning today, that is one I won't mind missing! I have them losing to Tulsa in the next round anyway.

Iowa State scares me with their inconsistency. I could easily see them making a deep run. But I also have them losing to NCCU in one of my brackets. Having NCCU win would make me feel better about ODU's near-miss against them.

NCCU deserved better than a 14 seed. They are a good team.

well the other upsets didn't hurt me much but Mercer just blew up my bracket...they played a great game...

Not really a Duke hater, except for right now when I picked them to go deep. And that is our Olympic Team coach?

I had them going to the sweet 16. still at 98% right now. not a bracket buster, but i just hate losing..

HAha I'm an idiot and picked Dook to the Final 4. Not sure why. Either way was totally worth my F4 getting busted watching that. =]

Didn't hurt me much as long as UMass beats Tennessee since I have UMass beating Duke in the 32 round.

Alright, thinking back historically, which Duke player did Mercer have arrested just prior to the game this afternoon?
