RE: NCAA Tournament
Albany is playing a really good first half. Doubt they can hang on, but good hob by them.

Hate seeing Albany's #3 get injured like that. Dang.

RE: NCAA Tournament
Whoever is announcing the UD game is calling them the Fighting Blue Hens every time he mentions them. I know that's there full name but I've never heard someone call them that every time they're mentioned.

Albany was doing well hanging with Florida, but they just lost their best player due to a knee to the head.

mercy the Bizon are having a good run, 3 national titles in a row, beating FBS schools in football, and beating a B12 team in the tourney.

Many very good games today...4 overtime games and 3 more decided by less than 5 points. Add in this current Arizona State/Texas thriller and we've had one hell of a first day.

Got me beat. I was riding high until the night games started. Even though I ended up with the short end of the stick with St Joes and NC State, they were fun games to watch! I know a lot of the analysts had NDSU over Oklahoma, I just couldn't pull the trigger on that one.

One of the more exciting first days that I can remember though (at least for my bracket).

Great win. Sounds like the Atlantic Sun conference has taken the magic from the CAA men's basketball side if the conference.

Man, Coach K, I bet an A-10 team would have beaten Mercer.

RE: NCAA Tournament
Charles Barkley stated it correctly, The difference is today's tournament is that you have senior laden teams like Mercer playing against Freshman and Sophomores of name brand teams who leave after one or two years.

That's a bogus excuse of a bcs defender. With all the money, name recognition and recruiting advantages that they have, their freshman should be better than mercer's seniors.
Excuses are for losers.

True, but the difference in maturity between a 22 year old and a 19 year old is pretty steep. Under the bright lights and pressure of the NCAA Tournament, a lot of guys crack.

Had Hahvad, N Dak and Dayton right. *pats back* Didn't see this Puke thing happening though. Still have all my elite 8's alive, so far so good, Duke was the only 16 out as of yet.

Is Buffet going to pro-rate that billion?!?...

Unrelated, but Buzz Williams to Va Tech. A bit shocked by this, I'd have thought Marquette was a better basketball job. The allure of the ACC, I guess. And they threw some decent cash at him, too.

I believe that was shaka smart's first career "first game" loss in the tournament. I'm shocked how Stephen F. Austin came back.
