Preseason Conference Challenge
What conference should we compete with. Any challenge would help teams with scheduling and exposure.

Conferences with preseason challenges.
BIG
ACC
PAC12
BIG12
SEC? (former big east challenge, I believe they are open)

Conferences we could/should Challenge

SEC- If willing they would be the most natural fit. Both conferences have contracts with ESPN. Big name exposure for the top teams, but not always the best basketball conference top to bottom.

A-10- A good basketball conference that constantly get 5-6 bids with good northeast exposure. Most games are on another network, not sure if ESPN covers enough games to make a tourny

Big East- Same as A-10, some bigger names but not better teams, also contract with fox. Be hard to work out a challenge with teams from another network

RE: Preseason Conference Challenge
The B12-SEC started a challenge this season. I would like SEC..adds to that precious "SOS" that everyone is clamoring about, and they're beatable.

Others want BE but I would rather not legitimize them any more than we have to. I'd only want to do one of the P5 fb conferences tbh. A10 is a strong league, but we don't need half of the conference losing to a bunch of A10 schools. Associate with big FB names and hope that it carries into FB season.

RE: Preseason Conference Challenge
For personal reasons (history with Georgetown, Nova, Providence, etc), I'd like a challenge with the Big East. It's probably not in the AAC's best interest though.

A10 is probably going to hookup with the ACC in the agreement to share the Brooklyn venue so that is likely off the table for us.

That will not be a full challenge. A-10 is only looking for a double header.

"The ACC and A-10 are also discussing participating in a series of non-conference doubleheaders at the Barclays Center"

RE: Preseason Conference Challenge
Well if that is the case I think the A-10 is a nice fit, assuming of course we leave the Fordham's off which should be fine to do since A-10 has more teams
