Don't get hung up on the small things like your mind tends to do.
I didn't wish to type the correct spelling. It's that simple. Like your mind.

Please name me one player that has come to Memphis in the last five years who was considered a NBA prospect upon arrival that saw his stock rise at the end of his stay.

This is how internet/message board comments get twisted. First comment reference players who's stock went down for coming to Memphis. Reply says show me one who's stock has risen since coming to Memphis. After several examples of the latter presented......crickets

Gotta love it 03-banghead

Will Barton? He got drafted in the second round. I'm sorry but he came to Memphis as a five star prospect.

Will Barton fell to the second round because of NBA's concerns over the people around him from back in Baltimore, not because of his talent or development at Memphis.

Really? When did that start to matter to the NBA?

RE: JaQuan Lyle commits to Oregon
The only person who was NBA material whose stock actually rose after playing for Pastner would be Elliot Williams IMO.

Will Bartons stock didn't rise but hell he couldn't have done anymore while he was here...No coach could have done any more for him.

JJ down but debatable if anyone else could have done more...CC about par for the course...AThomas Down...Tarik Black Par for the course...

Most of the highly rated guys have proved themselves to not really be NBA material, even in different situations and environments they have not excelled.

For a LONG time. That's why they hire former FBI guys, PIs, etc to look into players, their background, their "posse," etc. NBA teams spend a LOT of money on things like this. Elliot Williams jumped to the first round for the exact opposite reasons.

The Thrill would have been a sure fire first rounder, if not lottery pick, had he stayed one more year. That's not UM fault but you can't blame Will for doing what HE wanted to do with HIS talent.

Not where the Lawson's were going I think they were going to Arlington prep. It wasn't IMG though. IMG, was founded by Mark Mcormack out of Cleveland, to promote Arnold Palmer, Gary Player, and Jack Nicklaus. Basically starting the explosion for big time endorsements for pro athletes.
