RE: 2014 UAB football preview
I really hope you guys can get it together. UAB has been bad for a long time and Legion Field is an absolutely dismal place to play. Here's to getting some wins and building the program to a better place. I think Clark will prove to be a good hire and he'll get the team headed in the right direction.

I thought it interesting that Clark took the JUCO route, but after reading this article I understand why. Of all the schools in C-USA, it seems that UAB is the one school that just doesn't have the support of its administration in football. Basketball is a different story, but sure wish UAB could consistently compete in football as well. Alabama is a talent rich state.

It would be nice to have a reason to be sober during football season for a change. It kills the pain.

Nice. Seriously though, you guys need a small but awesome on-campus stadium. Just like Tulane's

Seems everybody agrees on that point, save for the Tuscaloosa Country Club, er, UA Board of Trustees, and maybe Vladimir Putin.

Clark said on signing day, "We can't tell our seniors we'll win 4 years from now. We've got to win now."

I never thought about that. You're right, a small OCS would be great for us. I think our fans should get together and write our board of trustees and let them know how we feel.
Wow, an OCS. WHY HAVEN'T WE THOUGHT OF THAT! 03-banghead

It finally feels like we have a program and someone who knows how to run one. We'll see.
