Not to double post, but do we look at Johnny Dawkins/David Shaw now? Shaw's definitely an excellent coach at Stanford. Dawkins has seen improved success under his recruits, including this year with his best recruiting class being seniors. Looks like he's got a stud class coming in this year but might be a little too young to build off of this years momentum.

Now that VT has Buzz Williams as a basketball coach, I could fit VT into the top 10.

Ohio State has to be #1 but that's based mostly on the record of Urban Meyer.
Michigan State is very solid. Especially coming off a Rose bowl.
Auburn just upgraded their basketball coach just like VT.
Louisville if Petrino turns out to be as good as he has been. He didn't set the world on fire at WKU.
Texas will hire someone good for basketball and I like their football hire but it is too early for them to make a top 10 list
As little as I think of Baylor's athletics, the results can't be denied. They deserve to be top 10.

Cincy could be on the list if they kept any one of their 3 previous football coaches.
