C-USA & NIT
I see both La Tech and Southern Miss are playing on ESPN3. Man, that network really holds a grudge if you sign with a rival network.

They did it to Marshall the year we were in the NIT too. Every C-USA school gets stuck on the internet.

It was the same last year. All of our games were at home so it didn't matter to me, but for fans that don't live here and want to watch it sucks.

Wish we could be there, but will watch it on tv. We have Xbox Live and watch ESPN3 on our big screen. It's funny to me, but my older kids look there first before checking DirectTV for games/shows. Different generation I guess.

Funny you mention that. We also have ESPN3 on the big screen (Apple TV), and I'm getting to the point where I flip on the Apple TV nearly as much as DirecTV.

Last year when we were a number one seed, they did the same to us. Probably the biggest mistake this conference ever made was get away from ESPN.

I know game one from last year was on E3.. but games 2 / 3 (la tech and BYU) were on my tv last year (E-U, as I recall).

Yep. We were in the Quarters last year. Every game was on ESPN2 but ours.

I think much of it is the experience. My kids laugh when I tell them about my boyfriend and I watching "Dawson's Creek" while on the phone. They switch between sporting events and shows uninterrupted. This is the new normal.

Are you sure they're not just laughing at you for watching Dawson's Creek? That would have been my initial reaction as well.

I agree. I've seen less of USM on TV the last few years than at any point since about 1990.

Thanks for sticking up for me, but yeah...I was hinting at deliverance. Today, you can watch a sporting event or show with seven friends in different locations at the same time. That was my only point, but I gotta say James Van Der Beek is still hot...just saying.
