MyBB AAC OOC opponents for 2014-2015
Since OOC scheduling is going to be very important moving forward, who does everyone have so far for next year?

UCONN:

2014 Puerto Rico Tip-Off (3 of the Field: New Mexico, Boston College, College of Charleston, West Virginia, Dayton, George Mason, Texas A&M)

@ Stanford (game 2 of a home & home), @ Florida (game 2 of a home & home), Texas (game 1 of a home & home)

Home & home discussions (nothing confirmed yet) with UCLA, Kansas, and Wichita State.

RE: AAC OOC opponents for 2014-2015
Rumors I'm hearing about SMU's 2014/15 schedule:

(home) Arkansas, (Home) UI-Chicago, @ Indiana, @ North Carolina St05-mafia. (Not sure where) TCU. . . TCU is playing in a 5,000 seat FWISD high school gym next year, while their place gets renovated.

Haven't heard anything else, including pre-season OOC Tournaments

RE: AAC OOC opponents for 2014-2015
We play at

@North Carolina
@UNC-Wilmington

We also play in Florida Gulf Coast's tournament that includes

Fresno State
Green Bay
Evansville
Florida Gulf Coast
UNC Wilmington
High Point
San Francisco

Green Bay had an RPI of #58 so they should be pretty good. Evansville and Fresno should be decent. Hearing no D2's which would be the bigger story for us at least regardless of what the rest of it looks like COGS

I don't know but I think we might keep Charlotte and ODU on the schedule. I believe their might still be a game owed or on those series.

Memphis:

In a Las Vegas event that includes Baylor, Illinois and Indiana State. Not sure if this is a doubleheader or a tournament format. Probably a tournament format.

As part of the event, we'll play 2 home (buy) games against either Prairie View A&M, Stephen F. Austin, Eastern Washington and Brown.

vs. Oklahoma State at FEF.
at Louisville (?) - though this might not get played til the 15-16 season.
at Gonzaga

Possible renewal of Tennessee and Ole Miss series.

Based on history I feel confident saying we will also have Campbell and UNCG at home. But otherwise a lot of unknowns with our schedule at this point.

Heard rumors of another NYC game against Texas. Not sure how true it is though.

Actually, an Indiana poster on their Rival site is saying the SMU @ Indiana is an exempt tournament. . . Since it was on the Internet, it must be true 01-wingedeagle

RE: AAC OOC opponents for 2014-2015
Tulane MBB has had joke-OOC schedules the last few years. That must change now with the shift to AAC, and I think it will. This year, we played 3 serious OOC opponents in the regular season: home vs Washington, @Wake Forest, and Kansas State on a neutral court (Barclays in Brooklyn). In addition, we play Princeton tomorrow night as part of the CBI thing. So that's four. Have to do better than that from now on.

Please tell me that dumpster fire of a schedule isn't really what Houston is thinking... beef up your program or get out! Your attendance is a joke and your schedule is beyond weak.

AAC members need to beef up scheduling in football and basketball if you WANT TO BE PERCEIVED as a major basketball conference and get NCAA bids and be the best of the Go5 for football bowls!

Sucks if we want to play any other good basketball programs it will always be on the road. I believe clemson 09-10 is the last ACC team to travel to Minges. Maybe like two or so A10 teams have come since/during that season as well. Here's to playing at Duke,Unc,State,Wake,etc every year...... 03-puke
