It took 4 rewrites, and one of the proofreaders were German(probably the last time we use him). You should have seen the first draft.

Dude, there are several GSU posters on this forum crying about how the Panthers got hosed and are not going to the big dance. Then you couple that with the comments about Bob Marlin (who I am not a huge fan of) to top it off. Then you have the guy posting on the Creighton forum about the Cajuns. Come on, look in the proverbial mirror.

Do I need to cut and paste Hammer22's post or Panama's post for the last few weeks and immediately after the game? It is more than just one poster.

When Troy was in top everyone hated them. Now that the Cajuns are the best all sports program as it stands in this current year, everyone hates us. But at least most fan bases have dignity and class.

Louisiana and WKU have a tremendous rivalry. Both sides generally hate each other, but there is mutual respect for each program.

GSU has a great team, but you guys lost and no one stole that game. It was earned by the Cajuns and GSU's arrogance had to deal with something called Karma.

Uhh...You guys are 3rd in the Bubbas cup, and stand next to no shot at passing WKU or ASU.

You can claim a shared football title, and a basketball tourney title. That does not make you a great all around sports program.

But in all honesty I think most of us will trade all of our Bubbas cup points for both of those. And to be honest again ASU got a share of this years football title but did you really earn it on the field? 2, 3, 4 years from now I would be hell yeah we were co-champs. But right now I think we all know which team was the best and which team backed right into a share. Still doesn't change the fact ASU got a share of the championship but...

There are set rules for who wins what. Arkansas State fulfilled all of the requirements to be Sun Belt champions. We got the rings, we got the trophy. ULL did the exact same thing.

You can add any qualifications you want. Head-to-Head, total points for or against, temperature differentials, player weight, number of redheads in attendance. But none of those things are in the requirements for a conference championship in the Sun Belt.

ULL had every opportunity to do what was necessary to be SOLE champion according to the rules. They did not do that. The rules were not changed during the season. We all knew what they were at the start. They did not fulfill those requirements and cannot be handed the "sole" qualifier after the fact with rules you make up.

ULL is NOT the sole 2013 football champion of the Sun Belt. They never will be. The records will always show TWO equal champions unless someone gets vacated.

ULL has every right to call themselves Sun Belt Football Champions 2013. But so do we. Everyone will just have to get used to that fact.

Just curious, if he was walking around the GSU section, did any of you ask him politely to stop? I know this, I was sitting in an aisle seat. If a GSu parent/fan would have been harassing everyone, I would have opened my mouth (not trying to be Internet tough guy, but I would have civilly said something).

So now we get to the truth of what this thread is about. It isn't really about us being sore losers, it's about you wanting to "get back" at some posters who were proud of their team and hurt by a loss by bragging and rubbing their faces in it.

Seems to me the thread title needs to be changed to "Sore Winner".
