SoCon / A-Sun partnerships
Depending on what women's sports we add in conjunction with re-starting football, we may still be in the Atlantic Sun if ETSU adds Women's Lacrosse.

http://www.insidelacrosse.com/news/2014/...owth-south

According to the article, the A-Sun will have 8 Women's Lacrosse teams for 2014-15 . . .

Detroit
Howard
Jacksonville
Kennesaw
Stetson
Mercer
Furman
Old Dominion

Also from the article:
"This marks the second initiative in which the conferences will be partners, as the A-Sun and SoCon are also linked in the administration of the Coastal Collegiate Swimming Association (CCSA)."

I wonder if all this might be a precursor for a depleted A-Sun to be absorbed by the SoCon somewhere down the road . . . like if they drop below 7 members and can't find replacements.
