Virginia is just as bad a matchup as Michigan State was last year. Their guards are massive.

Virginia has greatly improved as the season progressed. Don't get caught up in what happened early. It's fool's gold.

Yep. They are big, play ungodly defense and are deliberate and disciplined on offense. We do not beat teams like that. At least not under Pastner, we don't.

I don't know. I seem to remember beating Louisville twice.

But yeah, UVA is a tight, tight matchup. Problem is they are slow and limit possessions. We need more possessions so our athleticism will overwhelm their precision.

The rub is, we win if it gets to the 70s.

We have a better shot because it isn't a road game, none of Virginia's players have won an NCAA tournament game; only two of their players have even played in one...a 71-45 loss to Florida in the 1st round 2 years ago, and 5 of their top 7 players are comprised of 4 sophmores and 1 freshman. Virginia obviously ended the season on a high note, but their only good win away from home was against Pitt.

We do have a few things going for us.
