MyBB UAB's five best wins this season
Numbers after teams are current Pomeroy rankings.

1. UNC 26 - Huge victory for UAB at The Bart (63-59). UAB made 22 free throws that game (22-28 78.6%). Shot only 32% from 2-point land and only 25% from downtown (3-12). UAB only held five teams to less than 60 points, and UNC was one of them. UNC is a 6th seed in the NCAA's.

2. Tulsa 68 - UAB was only 12-6 overall and 1-3 in conference play when it went to Tulsa and won 70-63. This came on the heals of losing another conference game at North Texas two days earlier. Tulsa finished 13-3 in C-USA and won the conference tourney. They will represent C-USA one last time as a 13th seed.

3. Nebraska 48 - UAB walloped Nebraska 87-74 on a neutral court. Nebraska went on to go 11-7 in the Big 10 and earn an 11th seed in the Big Dance. They had victories over Ohio State, Michigan State, and Wisconsin. It was a much bigger win than realized at the time.

4. USM 63 - They finished 27-6 overall and 13-3, but their biggest victory was against La Tech. They got embarrassed at Louisville 69-38. UAB shot the lights out, going 11-23 from beyond the 3-pt arc. Frazier had 20 points and 10 assists. It was the best UAB game at The Bart after the UNC game.

5. Rutgers 170 - The second game of the season saw UAB hold on to beat Rutgers 79-76. They were a big physical team, and UAB out-rebounded them 54-27. UAB missed 11 free throws and only went 2-14 from downtown, but still managed to hang on for the W.

I'm pretty sure we were the worst loss for both unc and Nebraska when they were showing tournament resumes. It all went down from there for us.

Good times.

Even in our victories we struggled to score, and we hurt ourselves from the line. Tendencies.

Despite what Kenpom says, I would consider Charlotte to be a better victory than Rutgers

I agree. I would put Charlotte over Rutgers but still good list.
