Pellom
Anyone know his health status?

Not much to brag about in March and kind of fell off in February.

His last string of strong performances were in January.

Here's hoping he can grin and bear it and bring energy off the bench in the tourney.

His biggest contribution may well be in game prep.

it may be a blessing in disguise that a whole week's rest may help him for the NCAA

RE: Pellom
He was really a spark early in the year.

Probably not a coincidence that the team has somewhat struggled with him hobbled.

RE: Pellom
I have old man's knees. I'm not depending on Pellom's consistent production. If his joints are feeling great one night he'll get out there and aggressively do what he can do and be a valuable contributor. But he likely won't be available for the following game.

I'm looking for him to feel good given his recent rest to give it his all to win the 1st round. But after that game, my concern is the subsequent inflammation produced in his knees from his aggressive production in that game he'll likely be fighting it the rest of the way, and he will subsequently likely become a liability. Sure hope he proves me wrong, or the staff is on standby to keep his knees full of cortisone on an as-needed basis.

On a short-term basis, there are various treatments to mask the pain and reduce the inflammation without causing any further damage to the joint tissues that could carry Pellom through the NCAA tourney, but I'm not counting on the staff at Memphis to properly implement them on Pellom to keep him in every game of the NCAA tourney.

This is so true !!! Unless you have given up your body for the game, you won't understand.

Pellom's knees must be utilized strategically to make a deep run.

They are a precious asset whose minutes of use must be utilized strategically, not haphazardly.

Any and all aggressive running or jumping will subsequently be felt by Pellom in the form or pain/stiffness/or inflammation in his knees, negatively impacting his game.

Hopefully Pastner and Pellom clearly understand one another, and are both clear amongst each other this dynamic impacting Pellom's game.

Yep he was never really the same, seems like he pushed it. This and kuran illness's seems like a case of the tendonitis going around, but even then Pellom should help with the scouting of the team.

RE: Pellom
There are only two current players on the team when he last played.

Just know that GW now plays a 1-3-1.
