The University of Memphis men's basketball team has punched its ticket to the NCAA tournament for the fourth consecutive year. On Friday, the Tigers will face George Washington in Raleigh, N.C. at PNC Arena. Game time for the Tigers' NCAA Second Round contest is still to be determined.
The University of Memphis will receive 550 tickets, priced at $86 and $66 per session, for the NCAA Tournament Second/Third Rounds to be held at the PNC Arena in Raleigh on Friday and Sunday.
The University will hold 200 tickets for Friday’s game. These tickets are reserved for U of M students, which include team, band, spirit squad and their sponsors, and for the U of M administration, athletic department officials and student-athlete family members.
An additional 350 tickets will be reserved for use by the Tiger Scholarship Fund (TSF). Platinum and Gold Tigers will be limited to two tickets each. Ambassadors and Platinum Tigers will be given from 6-7 p.m. Sunday and 8-9 a.m. Monday to call and place their ticket orders. Gold Tigers will have from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Monday, Scholarship Tigers will have from 10 a.m. to noon and Super Tigers will have from noon to 2 p.m. to place their ticket orders, subject to availability.
All other Tiger Scholarship Fund (TSF) levels can place their telephone orders for two tickets each after 3 p.m., if any tickets remain available. Telephone orders will be taken in the TSF office at 678-2334, beginning Monday morning. Mastercard, Visa, America Express and Discover cards will be accepted.
All session tickets – three tickets for six games at the Raleigh Second and Third Round games – are currently available through NCAA.com/mbbtickets. All session tickets are $198.
