Every year is based on weird, arbitrary reasoning, but this is spectacular. Historically terrible.

^This. With everything else being the same, we replace 3-4 of those horrid RPI "buy" games with *slightly less* horrid RPI "buy" games, we're probably looking @ a '6'.
Which shows what a mockery the entire process is. The 150+ measure is a complete joke. The lack of a top 10- and top 25- cements this BPI as a farce, rigged system. The blue blood conferences know the number of schools in their conferences will not be rated so low. So they push the measure.

Just a random thought, but how about just keeping the standard requirements the same every year and then judge all the teams by those standards.

Because it's about money. And the big boys want it all.

Duke is always at home.
With the pod system, when you get a 1-3 seed, you get to play near home. That's the way it works. Hate em all you want, but they play at "home" because they get a good seed.
You need to check that, Dook doesn't get a good seed, They are given a good seed.
There is nothing earned here! It's biased seeding for teams such as DOOK

I totally agree, but we better wise up and consistently schedule those 150 type schools OOC or we will continue to feel screwed with every tourney seed we receive.
