I really do not know which infuriates me more, Southern Miss getting screwed over or SMU, either way good luck to you guys as well.

Both really should have been in. LT probably could make a case as well although I felt that they had less chance than USM

I can't even be disappointed when I think about how infuriated SMU fans must be.

Pretty crazy SMU got left out. To me, it was a purposeful slap in the face for the upstart AAC. Completely wrong, but the big boys run the show and they flexed their muscles. My opinion.

Good luck to you in the NIT!!! I would love to see SMU, USM, and La Tech in the final 4 of the NIT. That would send a nice statement to those "power conferences".

SMU should've been in and probably got screwed over because the people putting the brackets together may not have wanted so many AAC teams in regardless of whether they deserved it or not

Doesn't SMU have a really good recruiting class coming in next year? We have the bulk of our starters coming back and some really good new kids coming in - 2015 has to be our year to finally make it back to the NCAA tourney.

The RPI needs to be tweaked to include a factor for conference strength. Then conference affiliation could be disregarded because the RPI would include it. Then the RPI should be the actual seeding for the tournament. Top 36 non-auto bid teams would be the at-large teams.

They will never go for it because it removes the subjectivity and makes it impossible to skew the selections.

My point was that we need an objective way to account for conference affiliation rather than relying on the very subjective bull**** that we put up with now.
