Then Cuonzo goes and makes the NCAA tournament.

Rumor has it X gave them a credit card to party on and let them have at it the night before the Mizzou game. Maybe someone has the facts. Kentucky wanted their deal settled, and well, Cal, as the story goes set us up to lose by giving them a ticket to party the night before. Why Reke and his family dissed Cal at the draft. Of course I've probably got it all wrong.

First time ive heard this one... However, i was at the last practice before they left for that game. All practices were "open" back then to media. I went with Gary Parrish, and there was a sign on the door that it was closed. GP got us in anyway. Cal was very subdued... Called them all in the back office, GP said "thats weird". They came out 10 min later and had practice. Somethin was definately up. It was also there that GP told me it was "50/50" he leaves for Ky. When i said "he wouldnt leave this class comin in", GP said "he will take it with him".
