Who's your school's most famous alum?
For ECU it would likely be either Vince McMahon or Sandra Bullock.

For Memphis it has to be William Sanderson, who played Larry on Newhart:

Nice? I didn't know that Hacksaw played for SMU. Maybe the thread title should be: What alum has the biggest name in wrestling?

Jim Nantz, Fred Couples, Jim Parsons, Robert Flores, Bret Spiner

There are more, but those are the biggest household names.

Outside of Vince McMahon and Sandra Bullock, honorable mentions for ECU would be:

I would be remiss if I didn't add my favorite ECU player of all time Jeff Blake "Shake & Blake", who still owns the Pro Bowl record-longest touchdown pass (92 yards). He threw the prettiest deep ball in NFL history. The ball would just float right into a receiver's arms like their was a parachute on it.

Armored Knight nailed it in terms of popularity. Cheryl Hines (Curb your enthusiasm, Suburgatory) is another. Sports fans would know more alums like Culpepper, Asante Samuel, and Phil Dalhausser (mens Olympic volleyball)

Moral of the story; if you go to SMU and work real hard you can grow up and work for an ECU grad. :)
