Funny thing, he'll attack Christians on this subject, but forgets Muslims consider Noah a prophet too. He better tread lightly on this subject, Muslims are already offended by the Noah movie.

With regard to atheists, since there is no proof that God does NOT exist isn't it better to believe in him in case he IS real?

if you don't cross over because there is no afterlife/God what did you lose in believing in one?

however it'd be hell (literally) if you cross over to the other side only to find the God you didn't believe in waiting for you with a "no room at the inn for you" sign.

Why would I believe in anything else that can't be disproven? Why would I choose Christianity if I was going to believe, just in case?

Atheist contend that they can't believe in someone that they can't see. But are very content to turn on the radio to hear the music that is invisible too coming from it. You can't see the wind either but it sure can give you a headache with what it does.

They're just too stupid to know better. Share the word and if it's not believed just dust your shoes of them and keep on trucking. It'll be their loss. Whether they believe it or not, it's there, that is, heaven and hell.

I can give you every technical you need as to how a radio works, how it generates sound waves, and how you turn those waves into music. The wind can be technically explained. I'm not stupid. Given the right parts and equipment I can build you a radio, can you build me a god?

Think you would be better served to turn the question around.

Maher is a typical liberal...

He's actually more of a total fraud than anything else. His early stand up and the earlier seasons of Real Tiime actually showed that he had some conservative viewpoints on a few topics. I think he or his producer realized that his audience was 90% liberal and they determined it would be best if he turned Real Time (which was once a decent show) into a liberal circle jerk.

No doubt his target audience plays a huge role. However, in the end, Maher is a typical liberal. Remember how he got bent out of shape regarding the taxes in California? If what the purpose to love acctually impacts them, their attitude changes.
