These neutral locations would have to want our conference tournament and honestly, we as a conference, don't travel well enough.

I think Charlotte would be an excellent site. Relatively close to Norfolk, and Huntington, great infrastructure (arenas, hotel rooms etc.) lots of air travel options.

Does Western have a secondary gym on campus or nearby, if the tourney were held in Bowling Green ?
Nope, student activites center has nice basketball courts, but way too small to host any kind of tournament.....
Well Bowling Green High School has a fairly large arena for a high school. Seating capacity is 4,000. No different then playing in half the Sun Belt venues we played in over the years . Could be used for some early round women's games I am sure.

Biloxi is about halfway in between North Texas and Florida International. Tupelo is halfway from UTSA and Old Dominion. Maybe somewhere in Mississippi would be best.
Or just have it in Memphis? The arena is right there off of Beale Street.

ACC - Greensboro Coliseum
SEC - georgia dome
Those ARE neutral courts as far as I know.
Misread...my bad.
AAC - FedExForum
But that's not a permanent arrangement.
Oh Memphis?
In the case of CUSA and the AAC, both conferences went "safe" and picked schools/facilities that have hosted before and have good fan bases...with realignment it was the best way to go.
I know Memphis (FedExForum) Cincy (US Bank Arena), Hartford (XL Center), Orlando (Amway Arena) plan to bid for 2014-2015 AAC tourney.
If the AAC moves from Memphis, I think that would be a desirable destination. Halfway between Eastern schools and Texas schools and easily drivable for WKU, MTSU, UAB, USM, LATech.

I don't know which thread, hell it could have been this one, but in my opinion there are only 3, maybe 4 schools capable of holding the tournament, Charlotte, ODU and UAB (once they get their bball back on track.)

We've had it there before, and still, very few fans made the trip

At least Biloxi is driveable but far from an ideal site.
It's not the best, but it's on the beach, has casinos, lots of family activities, and there's an airport (albeit a small one) nearby.
It's an international airport.

RE: Where is basketball tournament in 2015?
Attendance should be rewarded, find the most center location between the highest attendance schools ... Sorry f_u's but Florida would be out! I'd be down for Nashville, Birmingham or anywhere which makes a drive under 4-5 hours for WKU , UAB , MT and USM . I'm sick of 7-9 hr drives to get to a tourney.

But there won't be a team with home court advantage this time. Maybe fans will feel like their team has a chance to win now.
