Good for him. Coach Davis is a nice guy, just not a great fit at UAB.

Blown out by a bubble team on his last trip. This time a one or two seed Will beat him by 30 to 40

I don't know. His team looked pretty good. Don't think they get beat by that much.

He'll probably be in the First Four game on Tuesday or Wednesday. He may not see a #1 seed

Texas Southern was expected to be pretty good this season so no surprise they made the Dance. I am surprise this board still talks about Mike Davis even if he is a former UAB coach.

Not really, we still will find a way to bring up Watson, Callaway, and pretty soon McGee. Many yelled it's time for Davis to go, but yet (correction) many posters still hold on to him. Much like the whole Cousins thing. Many cursed him for the so called way he did UAB, but can't help but post when he does wrong in the NBA.

Once they are gone, it's in no way Blazer related to me unless they are playing us. But, that's just my view on it.

Why?
We talk about Gene Bartow, Watson Brown and Mike Anderson too. It's our history.

I'll always keep up with anyone with ties to UAB and support them

Why not follow and talk about him? I agree with MB; they are part of our history.

Plus it's ironic as hell that he got into the dance at his 3rd program by winning a conference tourney, when the CUSA tourney was his Kryptonite. Also hilarious that he's been fired by 2 of those 3 programs.

Who wants to bet on a crazy Texas southern run to the championship game like Indiana in 2000? (I think it was 2000).

Play in game? So he hasn't actually made the tournament yet?

I think the terminology is he quit in lieu of being fired.

So we bring him up to gloat on his short comings or find fault in his acheivements that he couldn't do here?
Oh well, football will be here shortly. But first, let's see if the baseball team can win the conference. They are looking GREAT this year!!!

My point exactly. It's like the man does something positive at another program and some just continue to rip on him regardless.

I'm happy for him for what he accomplished, but you can't deny it's ironic he got back to the dance by doing the very thing he couldn't accomplish while at UAB.

Facebook friend just posted that "UAB let a good one go two years ago". Then again he wanted us to hire Trooper Taylor as football coach.

Please point out where someone has ripped him.
The only ripping going on are you and rook attacking posters because the thread was started. I posted the thread as an update. No one has ripped him in this thread.

Looks like you and rook just want to attack and find fault.
