RE: Todays Ratings
I still think they will be a 4 seed. RPI lines up for about a 4 seed and while that isn't really heavily used, the fact that they have 0 bad losses while most teams they will be compared with have multiple bad losses and they have quite a few quality wins and won the American conference, which many agree is a top notched conference. I'd argue they could still be in line for a 3 when you compare their best wins and worst losses to the potential 3 seeds. Wins are in the ballpark and losses are much better.

Guessing 4/5, as well. Anything from a 3 to 6 would not surprise me with how goofy some of these end up.

Six seed would be a shock. I would even take issue with a five seed. A conference co-championship usually has a lot of value to committee. Depending on the today's results the Bearcats could have four non-conference wins over NCAA tournament teams.

Duke, Syracuse, and Michigan all have losses much worse than UC worse loss. Kansas lost nine games, most of them were to good but not great teams. Michigan State lost a lot of games to decent but not great competition. Buckeyes were not that great in the Big Ten.

Palm still has us as a 3, Lunardi as a 4. I'm going to go with a 4 as well.

Anyone thinking a 5 seed must have a lot of upset tournament champions this weekend. Who passes them otherwise? Almost all of the teams with the best chance to move up to a 4 lost... North Carolina, St. Louis, and Oklahoma.

You still have SDSU, New Mexico, UConn, Ohio State, Michigan State, UCLA, VCU, UVA, Iowa State and Kentucky alive in their tournaments. St. Louis has played their way to no better than a six and more likely a seven or eight.

I agree...but how many years have we been 2 seed lines lower than we all thought was fair? More than I care to recall.

We are going to be a 5 seed with O$U as the 4 seed in the bracket. Book it.

A number of those teams were already ahead of us on the S-curve anyway, so it doesn't matter that they are still playing. That's why I said it's going to take a lot of upset tournament champions this weekend to pass us... teams like UCLA, Kentucky, UConn, Ohio State... I don't see any of those teams jumping to a 4 if they lose their final game.

I thought UC's biggest issues were location and opponents not seed. Mick's first two tournament teams six seeds. Thats pretty much what the deserved; however, their bracket was loaded with quality teams. Last year the Cats were lucky to get whatever the committee gave them.

I am more worried about opponent, location, game time, and overall bracket difficulty than seed. Give me a five if the twelve seed stinks and the four seed is overrated to boot. Just like the year the Cats beat BYU and Kent State to get to the Sweet 16 as a five seed.

For long term, I am thinking the bracket where Wichita State is the #1 and Kansas is the #2 would be nice if we survive the first weekend.

I don't think there's much difference between a 4 or 5. That being said I hope we're a 4. I think that's where Lunardi still has us. I don't see how Kansas old be a 2.

RE: Todays Ratings
I still feel we are underrated at 13, with 10- 12 being more representative IMO. Also, co-champs of the AAC with what should be 5 teams dancing paired with our SOS/NonCon wins says I think we SHOULD be a 3, but guessing on the traditional slight overlook- a 4 seed.
