RE: Top Games for 2014 Football Season
When I read the headline "5 key college football games to watch".....I expect those games to figure into the championship race.....and those aren't the games that I would pick.

Nonetheless, they will be interesting to watch.

Would think something like "There Will Be Blood" would be good,
but in such a PC world would probably not go over real well.

Nevermind you know...copyright law...

You're right about the copyright laws. Just no fun in this country anymore.
Guess we could call it the Annual Eagle Downing Game

Some people might be offended, but kind of like the Hillbilly/Redneck Showdown.

Sounds better than the Annual Mountaineer -vs- Flatlander Showdown I guess.

I've been calling it the Black and Blue bowl for years, but apparently that title already belongs to another rivalry.

Arkansas State/Louisiana and Troy/South will figure into the title. The others, probably not. Don't count out Georgia Southern though - they don't play Arkansas State or Louisiana. They are a team to watch because of that reason. They are capable of beating every SBC team on their schedule.

These two universities so closely align from an academic, institutional, and geographical standpoint, I doubt that I could ever make the leap of considering any school in Atlanta a more intense rival. Particularly given their history at the lower level. Entering a league/conference with institutions that are so much more closely aligned with both schools is OUTSTANDING. Rivalries are much more likely to evolve in this environment.

If we beat every SBC on our schedule, I would go out, buy panties, and then proceed to cream them...while wearing skinny jeans, high heels, hipster glasses, and a Georgia State jersey.

OS - you have been spending too much time in Atlanta looking for fashion statements on too many streets.
Time to get back to the Boro bro.

Memphis and Southern Miss use it, but I don't think anyone has noticed. We could probably take it.

I really do like Black and Blue Bowl.
After all, all words are recycled. Someone even said there were other Mountaineers, and even other Eagles, go figure.
Has both teams major colors.
Guess we could always use the minor colors and go with the
gold (yellow) and white instead. Some might call it the Chinese American Bowl then though.
Let's go with Black and Blue Bowl until we think of something better, if there is any better.

Cajuns play Boise State, LaTech, and Ole Miss next year. All of those should be interesting.

Those limp ninny'd, sissified, metrosapiens down near Georgia State with their cute little fashions and non-gender specific outer wear... 03-puke03-puke03-puke

Outside of Wikipedia, I have never heard it being used before. I think it's the best name I've heard yet.

Black (App) Blue (Southern). Denotes a physical, tough, bruising battle. Fits like a glove. Hell, if you guys will start pushing it, so will we, I'm sure.
