Former UAB assistant coach Robert Corn...
One of Gene Bartow's former assistant coaches, Robert Corn, who was at UAB for several seasons, beginning in 1978, is in his 25th season at Missouri Southern in Joplin, Missouri. The Lions are 24-5, ranked 19th, nationally, in their division, and are playing in the first round of the NCAA Division II Tournament, today. Coach Corn is retiring after this season.

I went to Missouri Southerns athletic site(which appears to be light years ahead of our own athletic site), http://www.mssulions.com/sports/mbkb/index ,watching their first round post season game, right now, live, on the internet.

Congratulations to Coach Corn on a great career of coaching.

Coach Corn's Missouri Southern Lions advance to the second round, defeating Fort Hayes State, 80-69.
