Good luck. I think it's a good move.

Ironically, our 3rd bid to the CIT in 4 years, with a Championship run last year. Honestly, barring Brock Young's knee blowouts in our first CIT game, we could have gone pretty far that first time.

Wasn't ECU guaranteed a spot since they won last year?

Ok, there are TWO things to this, and I am not sure how it works...

Being the champ, you get a auto bid

You can get a bid at being > .500 for the season too.

Actually, his knee went in the conference Tourny against UAB.

He hurt one, but didn't blow out the other against Jacksonville?

No, blew out his ACL and MCL in the UAB game, was done at that point. Didn't play in the Memphis game or JSU game.

This will be an excellent opportunity for ECU to gain valuable experience and further develop the team in preparation for their first AAC season. Good night, good luck, and I look forward to any and all games you have against ODU in the future.

As well as for Keem to get the the single season 3-pointer record and move up the list for career 3-pointers (currently 7th).

Strictly SJ/bball/ravings speaking I am laughing....

Otherwise, for ECU hoops on the whole, doing well again in the CIT, would be a big deal--transfers and injuries probably put us out of doing something of worthy for a Tournament upgrade invite.

Best of luck Pirates! This would be a nice parting gift to the conference for you to win the CIT again.

Good luck! I hope you win the CIT so the CUSA schools can divide up all of the prize money! New shoelaces all-around!
