2014/2015 AAC FB/BB
I just had a bright idea that I'm sure nobody else has EVER thought about: How about UC winning championships in both BB and FB this year? Why not just take the bull by the horns and dictate the air and water access? Choke them 'til they submit! Anger and a little chip on your shoulder could go a long way. New members can take a number to bow down.....just kidding but still very serious.05-stirthepot

I mean, come on....Memphis is always a threat in BB and obviously UCF in FB is tough, along with others but...what better way to lay down the law than to win both!?!

RE: 2014/2015 AAC FB/BB
After watching Memphis and Pastner this season, I am not impressed. Just like I am not overly impressed with Ruffin McNeil and ECU.

The real challenge in AAC in BB will be Kevin Ollie up at UConn and Manning over at Tulsa. If those two guys hang around, they and their teams could make life very interesting. Obviously Brown down at SMU is the real deal, but time is on our side there. (Likewise with O'Leary in FB...)

But Pastner strikes me as roughly analogous to when Wanstedt was up at Pitt. Not all that great a threat.

I like the challenges but want to feast on red meat. Of course Larry Brown is a force, along with KO at UConn. Just want to start laying the groundwork for the truth that will (hopefully) be. Let's go back to being the big bad Darth Vader villians of CUSA back after the Great Midwest. Until further notified. Take that chip on your shoulders into every BB and FB game, we can stand apart.

I hate Ollie's attitude on the bench for UConn. I'm not convinced at all that UConn will continue to be the power it has been in the past.

But but but... They are all "nobodies" and "high school" level talent. I thought it wasn't a question we would win this "pathetic" conference?

Houston = football champ
Complete toss up = bball champ.
