Really amazed how you can't watch other teams play college basketball if Memphis isn't playing. I thought all college hoops fans watched more than one game a weekend like me. I bet I've watched some of most games this week! I happen to work at home and can take the time to channel surf utilizing two DVR tuners. Watched every SEC game and every AAC game.

It keeps me informed about more teams as I make my brackets picks each year.

And it certainly makes watching the Big Dance more interesting!!

Me and the poster formally known as Hernando Hills Tiger were in attendance this afternoon. Third row cheering for TV Ted Valentine.

yep. It amazes me too. Again, there are people who don't care a whole lot about the big picture when it comes to sports. Just treat this whole place like a personal chat room.

I know a certain person who was at the early session Thursday yet left our game at halftime. It's a long drive doe

It does not seem AMAZING that a Memphis fan, after being stung by a loss, would take some time off watching college basketball as it is a bit painful to see competitive games and kids having fun when your team is on a week break after a loss.

But most get back into it after a little while. While not watching other teams (yes we get it for some here watching SEC basketball is indeed a great thrill for them) if a big sports fans seems a bit surprising after a little while- when there are trails to run, and work to do, and leaves to rake, and your favorite team is not playing- not watching an SEC game inside on a beautiful day just does not seem to be an AMAZINGLY shocking choice.

Personally, I am ready for a hiatus from college basketball...I'll focus on the Grizz for now...

If you can't stomach going, then at least give your tickets to someone who will.

which is what I did....and they went.

But think of how much more you'd be able to judge others if you just presented yourself as a ~purist~ about everything!

Mimi, I really don't know why you harp on almost anything I post on this message board.

Reread my post. How can you conclude I was 'judging' anyone? I merely pointed out how I watch and enjoy all basketball games and surprised that so many do not watch any other basketball games if Memphis is not playing.

If anyone judges on this board, it's you.

It's why I have grown to really dislike mt.org.

Probably because your posting is obnoxious and constantly minimizes anyone who loves Memphis over your precious Nashville or Knoxville or whatever.
