NCAA Bracket...I think we came out OK, assuming we were set for #8 seed
http://espn.go.com/mens-college-basketba...nt/bracket

If you look at the WEST, 8-9 are Gonzaga/OKSU vs 1 ARIZONA [NOT Preferred]
In the SOUTH it is COlorado vs Pitt with 2nd round with # 1 FLORIDA [Definitely NOT]
In the MIDWEST, that's waht we were hoping to play vs UK and 2nd round with #1 WICHITA ST. [WOULD HOPE!]

I think the 2nd best option is the EAST with GW and 2nd round vs. Most likely, the Virginia...I think, if we go inside and defend the perimiters, then we have a good chance to upset...
Coach P and the guys MUST take every possession SERIOUSLY and play some SMART and INTELLIGENT basketball...I hope!

I say we upset Virginia, and cincy upsets Mich st. And one of us go to Elite 8. That would be awesome

The best part, if we get past GW, is there is no shame in losing to a #1 seed, and Virginia is the weakest #1 IMHO.

yep, Josh gets a pass with the "Sweet 16 or bust" on this bracket. Probably...as long as he doesn't get blown out.

When I saw they put Louisville at a 4 seed, I knew we were 8 or 9, was just hoping for Kentucky. That would have been a real nice win for us folks.

I agree, we have a good path but the idea that we can advance based upon defending the perimeter is scary since we haven't done that very well. A month ago I said we didn't defend the 3 very well & we haven't. I said we don't make FTs & we haven't & we turn the ball over too often (especially considering our senior guards) & we do. I was roundly criticized but unless we improve substantially in those areas & play uncharacteristically improved, we will have a short post-season. We have a very talented team & are capable of defending the perimeter (last 5 mins of Gonzaga game) & taking care of the ball (FL and early season). I shake my head at our poor FT shooting & have no answer. Go Tigers, hoping for the best.
